Art Protects You

A documentary on the project ART PROTECTS YOU which took place in Venice in 1999.

Following on from 'car', which was the theme of a similar project in Los Angeles in 1996, and 'walking' in Vienna in 1997, the 'boat' was chosen as the principal means of transportation in this third installment of the 'Letters Trilogy' from ART PROTECTS YOU.
Fourteen gondolas, each loaded with a two-metre-high letter of the alphabet, were transformed into a floating ballet on the Grand Canal between the Piazzale Roma and the Giardini della Biennale.
