Production of a video documentary on the creation and assembly of Robert Schaberl’s façade for the new building of the faculty of chemistry at the Graz University of Technology. The “Molecular Façade” was inaugurated on 7 October 2010 with a composition by Peter Jakober that appeared as part of the music programme of steirischen herbst.

Through the use of special colour pigments, Schaberl created an iridescent hue on the surface of the façade that brings the front of the building to life as the observer moves past it.

"It was an unbelievable opportunity for me to create a large-scale piece, and one that involves transformation too. This 100-metre stretch was a great possibility to realise this in a form that can be experienced in a highly visible way.” Robert Schaberl
