FLYING CARPET

Production of a documentary on a 'Kunst & Bau' project by the aritist Ulrike Lienbacher for Vöcklabruck Secondary School in Upper Austria.
Lienbacher's mosaic carpet is made from Smalti glass tiles set in a concrete construction and measures 9 x 6.3 metres.

"The ornaments are carpet designs from various cultures and form a sort of hybrid. The stylistic flower elements should evoke a garden landscape."
