Emerging Architecture 2 is broadening its view of the younger generation with '10 More Austrians'. The selection is based on projects from all over Austria, comprising urban as well as rural space. These projects are often the result of competitions: buildings made of prefabricated elements, recreational complexes, housing structures, interventions in historic substance. A shared tendency in the range of approaches shown is that these architects do not express themselves in the form adopted by the structures themselves. The materials and construction form and structure what lies between them - i.e. light, shadow, views, orientation, movement, calm, climate, the diffusion of inside and outside and functional multiplicity. The paths taken vary, the aim is the same: to overcome the architectural object in favour of the architectural condition.
